We’ve partnered with Burgundia Tour to offer you an exclusive journey which will take you to the serene, centuries-old vineyards of Burgundy, where the intricate patchwork of vineyard plots has flourished for over 2,000 years.

Under the expert guidance of lead teacher Mindy Véissid, you’ll not only deepen your photographic technique, but experience the soul of France — its light, landscapes, and legacy — while exploring and experiencing one of the world's most celebrated wine regions.

Whether you take photos on your phone or are a photo enthusiast, this tour will inspire and refine your craft and enhance your wine appreciation in a most picturesque setting.

Who Can Join?

All photography levels and all cameras including Smartphones are welcome.

Non photographers are also welcome.

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Arrival in Paris - pick-up and transfer to Burgundy

  • Day 2: Explore the 2000 year old village of Gevrey-Chambertin meet with winemakers, sommeliers for a wine tasting

  • Day 3: Day Trip to the 1000 year old Château du Clos Vougeot (UNSECO World Heritage Site). Visit of vineyards, wine cellars and enjoy a wine tasting

  • Day 4: Guided visit of the Hospices de Beaune -a half a millenium old Charity Hospital (a marvel of architecture at the heart of 1000 year old medieval city of Beaune). Enjoy a a private Masterclass with a Michelin starred chef

  • Day 5: Return to Paris and Airport

Paris Add On October 6-9th:

Learn practical and creative photography tips from Mindy in the beautiful city of Paris. You’ll have interactive class time in the morning and then you’ll explore together to put into practice what you learned. For those interested, time will be allotted for photo review and critique as well as editing instruction. For those not interested, you will have free time on your own to wander or shop.

The workshop begins the late morning of the 6th (departure will be on the 5th if flying from the US/Canada) and ends the morning of the 9th as you’ll meet with the rest of the group to go to Burgundy. Those not joining Burgundy will fly out.

All photography levels welcome. Non photographers are also welcome.

Smartphones, mirrorless and DSLR cameras can be used.

Activity level: medium - there will be lots of walking

Instructor: Mindy Véissid

Mindy is an innovative, award-winning international fine art photographer, founder of Art of Intuitive Photography, a boutique photography school in NYC, and an educator.

Her approach to photography focuses on using intuition, vulnerability and trust to show a deeper sense of who she is and what she sees. Mindy's intention is that her photos tell a story or a poem, guiding the viewer deeper into her image to show that's it's ok to be who you are, to trust yourself and your body (intuition). Mindy's photos have been exhibited in the US and Europe and have been published in various magazines and websites.

Mindy started teaching her Art of Intuitive Photography classes and workshops in 2010. In her classes she helps her students trust their intuition and creativity providing a fun and experiential approach to photography.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which airport do we fly into?

Orly (ORY) is the recommended airport. For those living in the US or Canada, we will fly out the night before the tour starts. After you register, Mindy will contact you directly to give you her flight info so you can all arrive together.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is a nonrefundable deposit of $500 to hold your spot.

The full balance is due by August 1st, 2025. If you are not paid in full by then, we reserve the right to offer your spot to our waiting list or the public, and to retain your deposit.

Cancellation: In the event you need to cancel your trip after your full balance is paid, you will not be refunded. You are welcome to sell or give your ticket to another person. In the event that we have a waiting list we will try to fill your spot with a person from that list.

Travel Insurance: We request that you get travel insurance.. We have used Allianz travel in the past. https://www.allianz.com/en.html

In the case of acts of God, war, disaster, pandemic, border closure or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to retain your fees and reschedule or make any necessary changes to the trip. Because there is planning on our and the hotel’s part, rescheduling the trip is the best option.
