Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Switzerland on this inspiring photography tour with lead teacher Mindy Véissid. From Zurich’s cobblestone streets and vibrant culture to the serene lakes, cascading waterfalls, and majestic alpine peaks of the Swiss countryside, every moment is a feast for the senses. You’ll capture the timeless charm of historic towns, the breathtaking drama of mountain vistas, and the tranquil allure of hidden natural gems.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive into Zurich early morning. You’ll have class time in the morning and then explore the old town in the afternoon to put into practice what you learned.

  • Day 2: Meet in the morning for class review. Day trip to Basel via train and explore the city. Overnight in Zurich.

  • Day 3: Meet in the morning for class review. Day trip to Lucern via train and explore the city. Overnight in Zurich.

  • Day 4: Day trip to visit Lungen, Giessbach Falls, Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen. Overnight in Zurich.

  • Day 5: Spend the day in Zurich for photo review, critique and editing instruction with Mindy. You can also use the day to further explore Zurich, shop, or take a day trip to Bern or Zermatt.

  • Day 6: Head to Zurich airport to return home

Instructor: Mindy Véissid

Mindy is an innovative, award-winning international fine art photographer, founder of Art of Intuitive Photography, a boutique photography school in NYC, and an educator.

Her approach to photography focuses on using intuition, vulnerability and trust to show a deeper sense of who she is and what she sees. Mindy's intention is that her photos tell a story or a poem, guiding the viewer deeper into her image to show that's it's ok to be who you are, to trust yourself and your body (intuition). Mindy's photos have been exhibited in the US and Europe and have been published in various magazines and websites.

Mindy started teaching her Art of Intuitive Photography classes and workshops in 2010. In her classes she helps her students trust their intuition and creativity providing a fun and experiential approach to photography.

A deposit of $500 is due to hold your spot. Final payment is due April 30th.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get there?

There are direct flights from NYC to Zurich airport (ZRH). If flying from elsewhere, please let us know so we can arrange arriving at the same time. We will take an evening flight on May 30th, arriving in Zurich on May 31st.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is a nonrefundable deposit of $500 to hold your spot.

Final payment due April 15th. If you are not paid in full by then, we reserve the right to offer your spot to our waiting list or the public, and to retain your deposit.

Cancellation: In the event you need to cancel your trip after your full balance is paid, you will not be refunded. You are welcome to sell or give your ticket to another person. In the event that we have a waiting list we will try to fill your spot with a person from that list.

Travel Insurance: We suggest that you get travel insurance. We have used Allianz travel in the past. https://www.allianz.com/en.html

In the case of acts of God, war, disaster, pandemic, border closure or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to retain your fees and reschedule or make any necessary changes to the trip. Because there is planning on our and the hotel’s part, rescheduling the trip is the best option.
